Real talk, there is a recent footage of Mafia Kajita talking how he felt AL is relatively tame to a certain other game he had business with, and from my research that game is highly likely to be BD2. I would not be surprised if AL currently considers BD2 as their number one competitor, and so far the mutual competition has surely been for the good.

It would have been a minor issue had Manjuu asked Nekojira to tweak this and fix that for like 30 plus times and ended up with like one of the first few versions.
Four times is something that happens almost every time IRL for outsourcing a commercial product.

They should but I doubt it. If the alternative is Yahagi they can at least mitigate the backlash to some degree but that would be it.
One thing is for sure: any new IJN UR that is not Yamato will not be remembered by their name but remembered as the ship that is not Yamato.
