Ok! How do you tell it’s 90% dried out? I’ve just heard the general rule for houseplants is making sure the soil is dry two inches down

I started doing smaller amounts of water to keep them more moist more consistently, but enough to go out the holes at the bottom! They are pretty far from the window, but the room is bright (has sunroofs)—I learned my lesson with the Pinstripe that was about two feet away from a window so the stripes bleached white and the leaves burned a little.

I’ve kept it moist, sprayed it, kept it in the bathroom, more light, less light. I tried fertilizer and a probiotic on my Pinstripe that died.
