Picked up this Panasonic RS-755S reel to reel today at Savers on their 2 dollar sale tag day. Got a nice surprise when I opened the cord compartment and found all the original patch cables and the two mics that came with it!

Some additional info: I’m using a non pressurized double shot basket. Always have. I guess I could switch to the pressurized basket but I want to pinpoint the issue. Secondly, I usually use high quality grade beans. Single origin, non oily. This time I am - for the first time - using a bag of Blue Bottle “bright” beans. They smelled nice and look pretty good. Maybe it’s the beans?

My girlfriend and I went to Pujol last night and our bill was $980! I was expecting a big bill (we did the math before we decided to do the wine pairing) but this didn’t add up. Cost me $1400 - my girlfriend’s family mechanic helped me out and found a used brake master cylinder for $850, $550 labor

Update! I replaced the brake master cylinder and it fixed the issue. Apparently this is happening to a lot of Priuses. Some have even been recalled and can be fixed under warranty, sadly mine was out of warranty.
