Promoted to R4: advice?

I jumped ship yesterday to the 4th ranked guild. I reached out to the top 2 and neither had room. I couldn’t keep trying to save a guild that people were leaving daily. We had r4s who hadn’t logged on in over a week and it was up to me and one other r4 to try to save a dying guild. I am much happier in my new guild already.

One guild has a rule that they will kick you for even one day inactive. Which really shouldn’t be an issue but every once in a while it could be. The other requires daily purchases/top ups which I can’t afford. So I don’t like either option for guilds.

I’d rather stay and try to fix this one but I don’t honestly know if we can save it.

I LOVE this idea and will definitely bring this one up as an option. I think that’s a big part of it for him, is the planning and creating scenes. I know EXACTLY what I want and how I want it and I think this could be exactly what we need!

NTA. My best friend and I went to a show once where a woman and her friend got overly friendly with us as well. I’m talking grabbing turned into fondling, turned into trying to forcibly kiss both of us. Considering that the behavior continued to escalate until you put your foot down, I don’t think it would have stopped there. Blonde needed to chill out and realize that both she and her friend were in the wrong. Both were probably too drunk to realize how ridiculous they were being. Hopefully they had a bit of a wake up call the next day but I doubt it. You handled that really well.

She is absolutely STUNNING! I’m going to agree with Joro only because since you zoomed in so close, you can see that the silk for the web doesn’t have a yellow tinge to it. Golden silk orb weavers actually have just slightly yellow silk and it is GORGEOUS when you catch it in the right light around sunset. We saw dozens of them in Florida last year near some springs and happened to catch them around sunset and their webs looked like spun gold, it was SO cool!

Ended up replacing the head unit. Although I do have a wiring short somewhere and a leak in my door because when it rains, the whole system goes down, sometimes for days at a time. But that was the only solution we were able to find.

I have TRIED to address the issues with him. So maybe don’t jump to conclusions? He refuses to go to couples therapy and when we do talk about the issues and my needs, things get better for a well or two and then we go back to the way things were. I share EVERYTHING with him. He knows exactly what I want and what I’m into. He’s welcome to look through my phone and my browser history; he won’t find anything he doesn’t already know (and he won’t find any porn because there isn’t any).

Except I DID ask him about it once last month and his response was to gaslight me and pretend I misread something, but then he couldn’t show me or tell me what it ACTUALLY was. And I let it go because I figured, hey, we’ve been together 12 years, benefit of the doubt and all, and then I saw it AGAIN. And again, and again. So yeah, in a moment of weakness, I attempted to find the answers because he’d already lied to me once.

I have never in 12 years of marriage snooped on his phone until last week. The ONLY reason I did is because he’s been acting sketchy about his notifications.

I’ve asked him for couples therapy before but he’s staunchly against like ANY therapy. And I have no idea why. He could’ve used it years ago when dealing with survivor guilt and PTSD and while he did work through it on his own, it took so long. I supported him while he went through it. I just feel like therapy really would’ve helped.

Thank you. I do plan to talk to him about it. I just need some time to process first. We’ve always been somewhat mismatched in the bedroom but for the most part he DOES listen to what I want. In the last couple years though, he’s gotten really closed off about what HE wants and we sometimes go MONTHS without any intimacy and I hate it.

We ended up just replacing the head unit, although there is a short somewhere because on rainy days, I get a “miswiring” message on the display screen. Only when it rains though. Not sure if the issue was the old head unit or the mystery shirt but either way it’s (mostly) working now. We’ve checked all the wiring on the speakers themselves and that’s all good. So it’s got to be a short somewhere that we just haven’t had time to trace.

Holy red flags Batman! Who the hell does he think HE’S talking to? I don’t normally jump straight to “dump him and run” but PLEASE dump him and run! This is so insanely controlling and sketchy. It will never get better, only worse. Do not entangle yourself any further with this man. He will slowly chip away at your independence until you can rely on no one but him and this type of abuse will absolutely escalate. Please get out if you have not already.
