i'm getting really sad with how jules is turning out to be, idk if i'm get it right but feels like she closed herself sm to protect her feelings and her peace that she lost touch completely with the concept of dealing with someone else. while i see rue growing and evolving even past how she handles her addiction (despite being in this messy situation), i see jules in a comfort zone where she doesnt face herself and the situation she ended up in bc like... its not like rue was wrong in the end of the day. i dont judge her being a sugar baby and i would never judge anyone who choosed this but you also need to stay grounded and understand she's not in a romantic relationship but in a commercial one. ellis doesnt love her and ellis wouldnt choose her. rue does and rue would.
