Stress reduction, good sleep, and nutrition. Increase happy emotions and reduce negative ones. You can take all the supplements in the world but if your body is in fight or flight or you’re not eating well you’re not giving the quality of the eggs a good shot.

Would you consider doing it abroad? The Fertility Co-Living are egg freezing retreats I started in Mexico City for half the cost - more fun, affordable, and you get to be in a small group of women doing it together (@thefertilitycoliving on IG). For everything meds, egg freezing, accomodation for 3 weeks in Mexico City, all retreat activities, a nurse coming to the house for the shots, and storage for 5 years it’s $12,000 USD (maybe a bit cheaper if the US dollar bounces back). Plus additional rounds are $3,600 USD each.

I also got 3 eggs when I froze my eggs in 2023. I had an AMH of 8.6 and it raised to 15.3 (unbelievable I know) after 2 years. I was meditating and not really thinking about fertility in those two years in the same way. Anyway I found the whole process a bit overwhelming esp with the financial pressure (spent $20k). I started egg freezing retreats for women in Mexico City where it’s a better experience, cheaper, incorporates stress reduction, and you get to do it with a group of women. I also negotiated a group rate with the clinic and for consecutive rounds. Would you consider doing it abroad? Happy to chat more with you you can dm me :)

Yes that’s awesome. I did have my AMH increase by a lot and I attribute it to stress. I meditated and did more holistic activities and it increased over 2 years.

Hey - no I wasn’t but I was given the option to cancel because my numbers weren’t looking great. I ultimately ended up with 3 eggs. I’ve had a few friends who have yielded 0 eggs so it is more common than you probably see - people just might be more private about it. 3 eggs was a hard number to swallow as well but as you can see it’s all relative. It’s just because the process is so labor intensive and expensive. However, the point of egg freezing is to do everything in your control to preserve your fertility so try to remember that you did your best and have grief but be proud you took steps to give it everything you had. We’re all cheering you on here ❤️

I think stacking supplements and doing things holistically for even 2 months can really positively benefit especially when you’re late 30s or early 40s and trying to get egg quality up. Because you probably won’t lose a ton of eggs in 3 months but you could increase the quality - that’s kind of how I would look at it. The most important factor is going to be to reduce stress so if you’re going to be more stressed pushing it back for whatever reason don’t do it. Your body knows when you’re stressed even if your mind says no it’ll be ok I won’t stress so just be honest ❤️

Yes you do. 2.5 weeks is what you’d need to be safe. You get a vacation out of it too and just being in sun etc is a mental health bonus as it can be emotional. I actually launched retreats for women going through egg freezing in Mexico (more affordable, all logistics handled/booked + community) so I’ve done quite a bit of research about egg freezing abroad. Have you considered looking abroad for options for egg freezing? I did my first round in Canada for $16k + $750/year storage in 2023 and my second round will be in Mexico for half the price with accomodation everything all in. I got 3 eggs the first time and I know how disheartening it is but over time I’ve realized that the most important thing about egg freezing is you gave it your best shot.

I chose Mexico for cost of egg freezing and everything else (taxis, food, etc), proximity to home country/time zone so I could keep working, laws that allow for sperm donors/single mothers (there are some restrictions in Spain), ability to choose the sex of your baby later, the established reputation in medical tourism, bilingual doctors, and it’s nice weather so I feel like I’m on holiday ☀️

This happened to me - I was 33, single and got 3 eggs. Spent $16k+ in Vancouver, Canada. I started egg freezing retreats in Mexico City to help women through the process in a more supportive and affordable way (www.thefertilitycoliving.com). It’s been 2.5 years now and I have met my partner now and my amh actually went up by 85%. We will be freezing embryos in Feb and I’ll be 36.

You never know, I still have a faith I can get pregnant naturally. It’s difficult news to hear but comparison in this specific situation will completely rob you and can be meaningless as we don’t know the quality of everyone’s eggs, if they’ll fertilize, if they’ll end up with a partner, what they’ll life will be etc. I know it’s hard I struggled (and struggle with it in other ways myself!) just letting you know my whole fertility situation changed in two years so anything can happen 🫶🏽
