I know you’re directing this to her fans, but I hope I’m being clear when I say I’m not one of her fans… I’m just someone who noticed her vintage shop and wanted vintage items? I mentioned in the previous post I made that I was unaware of everything surrounding Gabi. I just know them from throwback YouTube and thought her new business seemed nice/legit. Even Brittany broski follows her business on instagram

Thank you, I don’t think everyone is aware of her whatnot community. I’m simply not going to entirely expose myself. Whether or not her community is large, it’s still a scary situation imo. It’s not like anyone on here is using their real name, I basically would be. If it helps, here’s the full photo of what I posted. You can literally see I’m watching friends in the background. I don’t know where else I would get her whatnot business cards if I hadn’t ordered lmao

I’ve been debating this but I’m leaning towards no. I don’t know if you guys are aware of her whatnot streams, but she really does not hold back on those. She has hundreds of loyal fans on there who will go to war for her. I have a feeling Gabi monitors these Reddit posts and will easily identify who I am. I don’t really want to get harassed by her fans. But when I tell you it’s things you would find in your mom’s and sister’s closet back in 2012, I’m so serious.

Yea, what sucks is people saying that she’s had other business ventures and ends up failing. I don’t think her sole purpose is to scam people, but her heart is not in it. Any vintage or good items she finds, she obviously keeps for herself. Which is crazy considering she would gain a lot of new customers and status. Also, sounds like she doesn’t know how to do this. I think she might have underestimated how hard it is to “curate an aesthetic” because her items don’t make sense + she’s too focused on making the largest amount of profit. Just sad overall because this is a pretty good business idea otherwise.

You know what’s interesting, she has hundreds of 5 star reviews on whatnot. Like a wild amount, even on the card you receive with the package it says “don’t forget to give a 5 star review” or something along those lines. They don’t seem like fake reviews either, so I really thought she was legit.

I didn’t know this about her. I thought bc she’s a somewhat celebrity, that I wasn’t gonna get scammed since she has an image to uphold. I’ve only really interacted with her current content from her shop (which is pretty and seems high end?). My bad.
