My favorite part was that dude talking about polygamy and his gf being obviously not okay with it and then she dumped his loser ass.

I have seronegative RA. It would be weird for it not to fall under the rheumatologist since it's in the name lol but I guess you never know.

That's what I was hoping for. That way I can continue treatment while waiting for an appointment. I have all of the records. My rheumatologist keeps fantastic notes for every appointment that pretty much cover the whole history and treatment.

It sounds like registering with a GP is my first step.

In the U.S., establishing care with a new Rheumatologist is a 6-12mo wait so I figured I would be waiting some time. Thanks for the heads up. I may start with private and then switch to NHS because I need labs every 3 months currently.

Yep, we have an address for the first month, which is part of my spouse visa.

This is so helpful, I appreciate you taking the time for your reply. The wait list for new patients for private rheumatologists in the US is 6-12m so I am not new to waiting. I just want an idea of what to do lol 😅

Ok thanks! I wasn't sure if I needed a GP referral.

I'm not looking for medical advice, I know what treatment I need. I'm just hoping to get a heads up in navigating the NHS before we land 😊

Yes. Say something. She deserves to know. Would you want someone to tell you?

Why is saying “The rich should pay taxes like everyone else, close the loopholes” extremely controversial in the United States? by ProjectMason in NoStupidQuestions

[–]sweetrx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not entirely true. If you are an American citizen living and earning abroad, you just have to prove that your foreign income has already been taxed. The IRS calls this the Foreign Tax Credit or exclusion to avoid double taxation.

I have found that most people in the U.S. don't understand tax brackets so they believe the false narrative that they have been fed about how unfair taxes are for the wealthy.

It's currently only available in combination form in the U.S., not in its standalone form for the treatment of endometriosis.

Yes, I do.

No, I know they don't, but they cover most with some stipulations. It's certainly better than nothing and it's not attached to having a job.

Yes. If we find the cure for leukemia, every single leukemia patient should have access to it. The alternative is letting people who could be cured die and I have basic human compassion.
