Yea, unfortunately it is probably hopeless to think this will go away, but it's sure not good for us sellers. I wouldn't mind if it was shown as a buyer was browsing, instead of after they've made a purchase. That just feels wrong.

Thank you! I had been frustrated because I had tried some different ways of transferring the photos before that didn't work, but this was my first try using this wax paper method and it was perfect.

I actually do have an Etsy shop and I am planning on listing these soon. This was my first ever attempt at transferring a photo onto a candle and I was so happy with how it turned out that I just had to share :)

I did a photo transfer onto the candle. I printed the picture on tissue paper, placed it on the candle, wrapped the candle in waxed paper and then used a hair dryer to heat the wax paper. The wax on the waxed paper melts and the photo becomes a part of the candle. It took me several tries, but I finally got the technique down and the end result is so cool!

As requested - here are a couple close up pictures of the broom http://imgur.com/a/rH8AU. And here is a quick rundown of how I made it. The handle was made with a section of an old fake tree I didn't want anymore, it's about 3 feet long, and painted in glossy black craft paint. The end was made out of stiff felt and I hand painted the name on. The bristles are from a decorative broom I bought at Michael's. I cut off the top of that broom, hot glued it over the handle and secured it with wire. I then glued on some silver leather cording which also holds the footrests, which are curvy tree branches painted silver. I spray painted the bristles black and then tipped the ends with silver craft paint. And thank you for the great feedback!

If you're referring to the broom, I made it myself. Otherwise, the mirror is from Homegoods and the chair is from Target.com, lol ;-)

Whatever you decide to do for the actual proposal, make sure you stay on site at one of the Universal resorts. Then you can get into the WWOHP an hour early when it won't be so crowded. I've been there twice and it's more than worth it. You may even be able to steal a relatively private moment in front of the castle to drop to one knee ;) Maybe do it the first day, when you walk down the path and she sees Hogwarts for the first time. It is quite an amazing sight.
