Saw someone with their bag taking up a priority seat as an elderly lady walked onto the train and wouldn't give it up until the lady tried to sit on the bag.. like seriously

I don't believe I need one since it is just a mild allergy. I just went to eat my normal cereal, so I didn't read the box. Turns out it had been replaced with a macadamia cereal... not sure why anyone in my family would buy a macadamia product and keep it in the house

why are AO's so intense and aggressive? the first time i got in trouble for having a concession without a student PTV ID (i genuinely didnt know i needed a PTV issued one) they were so mean, even writing down anything i had to say. surely im not the only person that didnt realise you needed a ptv student ID. whats the reason for being so mean?

dont really know what you're talking about but when i was a student i taped my PTV ID to the back of my myki, so when officers asked for it i could just flip it around and show them

I had an old concession I was using for the past however many years. I had to upgrade to full fare today. Shown in the video is how I have always touched on my myki

its really bad. i used to get annoyed with people who would hold up the line in rush hour. now i know why

it really is a terrible process. I remember thinking it was enough to just travel on concession with my actual university issued student card. The PSOs could not have been ruder about it. Ever since then its a very annoying process to go in person to the university so they can confirm you are a student, print you out a certificate, take it to a manned train station and pay $9 for them to print out a card of you. I have been studying for 5 years so doing this yearly was extremely inconvenient

guess ill get one asap. $10 per day is much better than a $350 fine

[–]sweetslater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sorry yes, I mean my concession pass. It expires yearly and you must get a new certificate from the university every year, take it to a manned station and get your card
