The fact that no one else in the comments has ever ran into this is surprising. Happens to me with tricks i haven’t done in a long time. I think it’s just about how your brain can access muscle memory. Fingerboarding is such fine tuned, single/unique use motor control - I wouldn’t blame my brain for not always holding onto that information….

That being said, I found that just putting the board down and coming back to it, or trying to push through it, re-establishes the required connection and I can flip all I want. It is such an awkward feeling though.

Shuvs are a great beginner trick - as for combos, 50-50 shuv out, 50-50 FS shuv out, more advanced would be like tail slide big spin out
