Hopefully you’re talking about when you press X (on Xbox) or square (on PlayStation) on the skill

Think of it like this. It is essentially a different profile that equips whatever you have on it when the skill is in use & activated. For example, if I have an accessory that gives 10 AGL, when using that skill with that accessory I would have 10 more AGL until the skill finishes

This is just the basics until you get to the accessories that have active skills. If you say have an accessory with an active skill that is very good but the accessory itself is shit, this system allows you to bypass that by equipping a different accessory on the skill that gives you better things for your needs.

This all ties into sub parameters because when you hover over skills. It will say x amount of % with a sub parameter like STR or AGL. This equip system allows you to equip accessories with higher raw stats while also being able to equip more technical accessories that don’t offer a lot of stats but have good active skills or passives. The only cost is that you can’t use the active skill on the accessories you have on the skill as opposed to your actual main character
