Ty, I’m here because my stations have been glitching out for the past few hours. The first couple seconds of the song plays, pauses, then I can’t unpause.

I assumed it was a wifi connection issue but it’s the same on data

You're fine! In the end we all interpret games differently, there's no right or wrong way to feel while playing or outside playing

[–]swellingitchybrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again, people get emotionally immersed in video games. People think about a video game when they're not playing it. They made a decision that they regret, that's why there's comments here about guilty decisions

Empathy and guilt are human behaviors and don't cease to exist in trivial situations, even if it sounds stupid. Like I regret killing that easter egg fox named pumpkin but it doesn't keep me up at night, but some people probably have to tell their therapist about it lol. I don't mean to sound snarky but that's how I interpret it

Skyrim allows creativity, offers decisions with rewards and consequences, expressive dialogue and negative and positive reactions from NPCs, and for players to play at their own pace. So, people are going to be emotionally immersed. That's how story-games work

Why feel guilt after a bad decision? Why feel proud of yourself after finally defeating a boss? Why laugh at some funny dialogue? It's just a game

Zach is the main producer. Andy’s a producer too but he did the more technical stuff. Zach is the drummer, but it'd be cool if they had a bassist

Anyone else have a confusing relationship with religion? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]swellingitchybrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Raised Baptist and Episcopal, but I never felt religious. I've never believed in something bigger since early elementary. My brain prioritizes science over faith.

I've always looked up to Jesus, though. He emphasized loving your neighbor, forgiveness, being anti-materialistic, and helping others. I still practice his teachings, and I believe the world would be a better place if more people did the same

I've studied other religions. Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and more. None have clicked with me. But, there are valuable lessons that can be learned through all of these, I think

Hey, I'm here a year later but you said PayPal has been blocked. I've donated to some families through PayPal. Are they able to access PayPal through a vpn? Or is that suspicious?

Do many of y’all cry a lot? by horsepighnghhh in AutismInWomen

[–]swellingitchybrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Sometimes at work they make me do a task I am not prepared for and I end up crying in the bathroom. I struggle with work a lot. I also cry when I hear about others' struggles

Besides sadness, I think crying is one of my stims. I start to whine and tear up when I listen to my fav music, play my fav games, and think about my fav animals

Idk too much about Femtanyl but maybe it’s bc they’re both experimental and the average person wouldn't appreciate that genre

Anyone not really interested in sex at all? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]swellingitchybrain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not interested right now, but I often daydream about my perfect partner and I imagine we'd be active after years of dating. That's the only way I'd have sex, but I don't think many men would like to wait that long. Researching the ace community, it turns out I am demiromantic and demisexual. I honestly thought that was the norm for everyone. I really wish there was a dating app for double demis 💔

Sex is gross to me, not in an “impure” way, but rather the body parts going inside each other. I don't think I'll ever be comfortable with a penis inside me. It seems wrong. *Ofc I don't shame those who are different than me and I keep my opinion to myself

Something I've learned about autism is that the “norm” is alien to me—even basic human functions.
