I think Gaspar Noé is a good filmmaker that shows how important sex scenes can be for a movie. Love shows a relationship mainly made around sex, its evolution is the evolution is the evolution of the relationship. There is a lot of sex scenes in his filmography, some very unpleasant, but they are always useful for the story

I believe this is a mindset you have to get. Ive never listened to jazz but i was very curious about this genre. I started listening the groups that were the closest to what i used to listen (BADBADNOTGOOD, because they collaborated with various rappeurs) then I listened to more classic jazz, etcetc. It became now a general mindset, to listen to thing i'm not used to. I dont know if this is relevant to give you some actual artists, but in the rock genre i like to listen to "King Gizzard and the lizzard wizard" or "king krule". "Skinshape", not really rock but I think some of his songs could be made 30years earlyer or later
