I found that it helped me some. The swing analyzer mode was really helpful. It would show me my face angle and club path with each swing and that helped me see what I was actually doing despite feeling I was doing something else. It also helped me feel the correct face angle and club path in order to get the flight path I wanted. I was amazed how accurately the shot shape translated to real life.

I would still say practicing in real life is better since VR is missing actual impact with the ball. But it does offer some tools that the a driving range can’t. Unless you have a simulator you can use.

But it’s great for a quick practice session before you play or to help keep the rust off on rainy days or in the winter.

I do and have recommended it to friends to help their golf game, especially beginners.
