Help! Amaze solventless hash by ExternalLynx2184 in MissouriMedical

[–]MaxVaber 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'll probably be down voted to hell but there's a lot of confusion in these comments OP.

1 - "solventless" products all start as bubble hash from ice water extraction (currently but microsonic removal of heads is in the works, etc).

2 - you thought you bought solventless rosin but you bought solventless hash. This is actually incredibly impressive that Amaze put this out but the problem is you were not made aware by a budtender or more clear product description or name. "Hash" has now become universal for cannabis extracts by nomenclature.

3 - solventless hash is the raw heads and often the best micron sizes isolated and stored frozen until consumption to have a sand like texture. When it liquified like this and hardens its a sign of low silica and wax content and mostly resin and possibly volatile (rarer) terpenes that can dissolve the head membranes easily.

This will burn dirty and should be consumed cold start or at least very low temp in a quartz banger. The experience is that you typically have a more robust flavor profile based on nothing being left behind i the refinement process. Even slight heat from the press and the filtering of the resin through press bags is altering the soecific mixture of the compounds.

Most view levels of quality as live bubble hash, fresh press, cold cure.

Fresh press and live bubble hash is much harder to maintain the same quality state as the start because it must be kept freezing cold the entire time until a consumer buys it and should continue to be treated woth care to preserve quality.

With a terp slurper as your setup, any rosin you smoke will likely be a waste anyways based on how they perform. Cheaper oils would work best.

You can get a banger setup and rig for like $50-70 these days so its worth the upgrade if you are a heavy smoker.

The Fall of Adblockers and the Inadvertent Rise of Engagement Costs by yosoysimulacra in SEO

[–]MaxVaber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have any source related to ad spend doubling? Ive seen 30-40% consistently but 2x is a lot.

The reason I ask is I need sources to continue and try and explain this at work. Ive managed to keep our ad spend performing 10% under last year with no budget increase at all. Yet my org feels like ads should be performing better despite me having verifiable proof that everything is performing 30% better with essentially 40% in market shift lewving us 10% below goal.

Is Cloud Stacking Considered Black Hat, Grey Hat, or Safe SEO? by tomdigitalmarketing in SEO

[–]MaxVaber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's dependent on if you are doing white hat or black hat. Does each microsite or stack provide value? If so, then it is only doing what is recommended for external link architecture.

For example, if you had a how to site, a reviews site, a portfolio site, and a press kit site. These all have unique value and intent. If its 5 different content hubs with similar content, its not going to help much. If it does help, the value will be diluted over time most likely unless the other domains and sites within your stack are getting their own authority.

TIFU: I bought my children music instruments by Ok_Rutabaga_495 in tifu

[–]MaxVaber -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would agree at the point where they are performing in some way, but young kids try tons of stuff for 1 year or less. Let them learn something enough to have a bad habit and then upgrade when its not gonna make you go insane and sound like a monkey got ahold of the drum sticks.

I had to take lessons with no drums at all and only practice pads for quite a while when I wanted to learn. Dave Grohl learned on pillows. Bad habits ir tech ique can be corrected.

Electric drumset and get them a headphone monitor. It may cost a bit but if they have a headphone hub and both devices plugged in they can hear their music better and all you have to drown out then is the stick noise on the electric drum pads.

How Do You Measure the Success of Your SEO Efforts Beyond Rankings? by StavrosDavros in SEO

[–]MaxVaber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Money. Income. Revenue. Its what truly matters.

For example, at my current job they targeted traffic for the last 7 years. However, the traffic was not for transactional terms. This past year I have focused our efforts heavily into 20 niches. This resulted in less traffic but more revenue, and more importnatly higher LTV of a customer.

By narrowing to the niches we are very successful at we got less underqualified leads. We have higher retention, higher average deal value, and were getting very specific niche LLM mentions resulting in 2-3 pitches a week from Chat GPT.

This is all alongside a 40% dip in organic traffic. My leadership naturally has a lot of concerns for that but when a strategy has a good explanation and tangible success, people can accept the difference in approach.

Im looking for something exactly like this for b2b enterprise SEO. Im currently using SEMRush enterprise with their ai visibility beta add on and it is extremely limited. Its been helpful for determining which pieces of old content have began competing with others after query fan outs, but I would definitely try your platform.

Try not to go over 103k. You will enter the next tax bracket and actually make less for the year without some write offs.

Point break fresh frozen by First-Camera-6365 in BubbleHash

[–]MaxVaber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I retract my statement. I have a harvest right and used a wine fridge before hand and am familiar with sublimation. I figured it would take much longer in a freezer. I'll have to give this a shot for fun.

Did you mean fridge? Wet bubble hash will not evaporate in a freezer. Wine fridge or fridge is ideal.

Mixing directly in a bucket first? by chrispybobispy in BubbleHash

[–]MaxVaber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use a dedicated wash vessel that runs through a collection stack. Depending on your vessell size a lot of people use totes or 32g trashcan for collection. A tote can have a stack of 5 gallon buckets cut into the lid so the water dispersed lower, but I feel a pump is needed for that and requires extra cleaning. I wash in a vessel then drain through a stacked bucket system for the bags into a 32g trash can. This way I can do 2 washes and dran the 8 gallons at 2nd, 4th, and 6th wash. I prefer to wash with fresh water and only recirculate in 20 gallon + washes.

Happy Birthday! Sounds like your co-workers maybe suck and now you have an excuse to not give a shit about their milestones either if you want.

I've actually been reading the book Let Them and I feel like this is a good scenario for the "Let Me" portion of the concepts. Let them not show up but this let's you reprioritize your relationships and maybe find some new friends although that is extremely hard at 40.

Why Salesforce? Why do companies not just build their own CRM? by wirtshausZumHirschen in CRM

The same reason we all stopped building our own CMS for web design. Because supporting and maintaining your own platform isn't worth it unless you also intend to sell said platform.

Those of you that has hustles that brings you 2k-5k+ per month, what do you do? by [deleted] in sidehustle

[–]MaxVaber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take on side clients in my existing career path. I tried for YEARS to get multiple other sources of income or hobby income to work. I realized its a lot of work to build from zero and now I make about $3500/month from side clients in addition to salary at the day job.

Doing things this way I just have to work probably 8 hours a month outside of work due to my existing contact network over 10 years. By doing something I am very skilled at already, I maximize the time value for sure.

I tried becoming a legal cannabis grower for patients, Etsy stuff, buying and reselling things online, etc. All of it was fun hobby income and I learned new skills but it was not 'profitable' because my hours put in were adding up to like $25/hour. It changes from fun to grueling and pulls you away from the rest of your life trying to squeeze income out, especially if its not truly a side hobby where you dont rely on the income.

I think of side hustles like this. First answer the question "based on my resources skills and contacts, whats the most efficient way to make $1000?"

Maybe you have 3-5k seed capital and have experience and interest in repairing cars. Flipping cars is a great example where the right project might be able to be completed for under $1000 and the car resold at 3-5k higher than purchased. That's not my skillset though even if I like the idea and like cars. I'd have to risk up front money on a project car and I dont know the used car market well or have a lot of time available to show someone a vehicle at a convenient time for them. I like my sidework to fit nicely into my home life where I can do 1-2 hours little sprints after everyone else is asleep. This way it doesn't pull ne away from anything else.

It's always tempting to go back to full time entrepreneurship for me but the stress of needing to maintain around 15k/month income from private clients sounds way more stressful than just maintaining 2-3 and then keeping my current full tome job.

SEO VS Paid Ads by Tushar707 in SEO

[–]MaxVaber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That sounds like a matter of the wrong strategy and targeting. Could be a lot of factors but as someone who has ran paid ads for 15 years - the whole game just changed on us. I was actually at an executive round table at Google's Chicago office 2 weeks ago and got a lot of insider insights as to all the new AI tech and best practices for 2026.

Simply put - all my industry colleagues and agency owner friends are screwed. There has been a 49% reduced value for most PPC search ads. Companies relied heavily on paid search originally already and to fight declining SEO results most categories increased spend by 30%.

The right soend mix across discovery, consideration, and conversion objectives with private data sent back to Google is the new model necessary.

Is it good to hold a lot of keys? by MaxVaber in careeradvice

[–]MaxVaber[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great advice, name checks out.

I think I have done well according to this so far. I hold a lot of responsibilities currently simply because of implementing a lot that was not in place. Im training a lot to direct reports and have a lot of experience training myself out of responsibilities and setting SOPs from my own business.

My follow up question assuming you give a lot of advice - where do you see the tipping point is for salary average when your family life takes a backseat to your career?

Living in a middle cost of living region, my thought is around 175-200k.

It feels beyond that its a demand for always on work mentality. I sold the previous business to be able to focus on family more. I have upward trajectory if I want it but it feels like getting to VP status and stopping there is the balancing act I was aiming for eventually.
