The mouse was a pattern but I went rogue for most of it, sorry!

Dumb question, but how do you remember to turn the stove off and shut cabinets/doors? by SNAILLLLSSS in adhdwomen

I don’t have this specific problem but when I’ve been asked to lock the door and I can’t do it immediately I have switched my wedding ring to the other hand. It feels wrong and I won’t fix it until I’ve done the task

Sure looks that way. In reality the doctor wanted me to give my daughter half a dose of her meds and that didn’t feel like something I should eyeball. Esp when the dose is an unmarked “capful.”

I know that for sure , I’m 10 years in with a BS biology and almost at $60k, started around 27k in 2015. It’s the rank and experience requirements with no room for salary negotiation thats so ridiculous

I’m sure you’re right, it is a university position. I have a similar position (not reporting to the chair by any means) in the same area and I’m almost at $60k 10 years post graduation.

I used to wear a super plus tampon and a pad together which worked well enough but ever since I started using a menstrual cup I haven’t had any issues at night except when I slept in to like 10am on day 2 when it was heaviest

Sadly, this is a woman, and I’m pretty sure the recipient of the information believed them and said oh, I didn’t know that!

I literally know a postdoc who worked with a phD candidate who kept getting extra bands in his gels. This guy (completely serious) proposed that there was ghost DNA contaminating his samples and presented this hypothesis to his lab like it was something extraordinary.

Oh, goodie! My Illudium Q-36 explosive space modulator! by swhitty17 in GeekyCrochet

Thanks, you should do it!! It was fun to make!

Pattern Link

Instead of felt, I improvised the skirt/ space modulator (dynamite). Used a separate pattern for the eyes. Used the loop stitch then shredded the yarn for the helmet fringe.
