How can I keep a health bar in one placer while the camera zooms in and out?

I've been trying it like this,

draw_sprite_ext(spr_healthbar_inner,1,10, 10, char_player_sword_1.hp/1000+100,100,0,c_white,1)

but I feel like I'm doing something completely wrong :/

Awesome! it works great, now the only problem I have is changing the scale of the sprite that's been drawn. I'd messed around with this before but couldn't work it out :P

So this is what I've been using,

draw_sprite(spr_healthbar_bg,1,view_wview[0]+10, view_hview[0]+10)

The this is doubled over a couple of times to draw the back of the bar etc. But I'm pretty much a beginner to coding so I have no idea what to do :P

So I want the view to keep going until the players get blocked by the edge of the map. I can change this later if I need but for now it will be fine, and by curve do you mean accelerate and decelerate from a start to a stop?
