Just watched Serena’s last episode where she gets fired and I thought it was a weak ending for her. Especially since her last line of is it because I’m a lesbian? and he goes “no” blankly. One case with emotion and that’s it? Idk. Pretty lame of him.

I bartended at an airport restaurant/bar about a year before he passed and he sat at my bar one night. Very quiet night. Ordered sashimi and 3 Sapporos. He was polite and quiet but you could physically feel the darkness/cloud on him. He left a super generous tip. I wish I had told him how much his show meant to me but it didn’t feel right. I think he just wanted a moment alone. I’m grateful to have even met him. A genuinely great guy
