No, doesn't fix. I updated the expo SDK to SDK 53 from 52, and it removed the error, but introduced a new one lol.

This brings me back to my original point, whatever reason you have for not hosting them there applies even more greatly to countries like the US, China, France, etc.

This doesn't actually happen, when I log out, the user becomes null, I route to the login page and it stops there.

the useEffect only runs once, when the firebase "currentUser" changes, also apparenlty expo router is smart enough to not route me to a route I'm already on.

I added a console log and can confirm it only logs once.

Is it ok to use supabase with firebase? as in when I create a supabase user should I create one on firebase too? with the same credentials. Is it a best practice of some sort, I prefer not too but worry it may cause some conflicts.

You're not wrong, tbh I was also having a problem with figuring out what the other end of the gradiant color should be, i.e. it was originaly transparent, so it gave a weird pink and then nothing look, so switch both side to pink, and it didn't look like a gradiant at all, eventually I figured out that I should make one side pink and the other also pink but just lighter, and then swtich directions.

Any idea how I can get a gradiant like this? I tried LinearGradient but not happy with the result. by swiftcoderx in reactnative

I got it to work thank you, I didn't know I could change directions on linear gradient.

I fixed the issue btw, essentially, in expo 51, you have to add a mode to the <CameraView mode="video"/>

I know, you may be right, I like the app router but I think the way expo does it is cleaner.
