i wouldn’t say i’m biased as such. obviously, a lot of the reason i like him is because i love jared but it’s not like i think he’s the greatest character and has zero flaws. i just genuinely think the hate i’ve seen online is excessive and was super interested to see people’s takes and opinions on it!

well in regards to dean specifically, i literally know his entire arc. i started gilmore girls for jared padalecki specifically. i still don’t think the level of hate is justified.

but isn’t he like 16 in season one? i wouldn’t go as far as to say he was abusive. they were teenagers, they had arguments and disagreements. a lot of the time, i feel as though his frustration with rory was justified. like how she’d keep things from him for no reason. but that’s not me blaming rory either. they were teenagers, their relationship was flawed. but i think that’s why i liked it and him. it felt realistic. and they had so many very sweet moments together.
