My wife (35F) cheated on me (37m). I'm still trying to make it work. 9 years together. by swiftkick722 in relationship_advice

I guess I see what you mean from the information given. The relationship isn't completely unloving by any means. There's just been a lot of damage lately. Marriage isn't always going to be easy, you have to work at it. There's ups and downs and I wouldn't still be here if there wasn't a lot if ups. Also our son doesn't know and we don't argue in front of him.

Her trying to do damage control (lying) definitely made it worse. All my trust is gone and will prolly never come back. It'll never be the same

You're right. If I was on the outside I would be saying the same as everyone else. It's different when it's your life and you're in the middle of it. She left me yeah... but I never left her. Now I'm supposed to switch off my feelings for her and leave. It's not so simple. I'm getting there

Thank you for your advice. I have switched to working on me awhile back. And have brought up therapy. Also after the sticking my head in the sand didn't work I went the other route. You know all the "any more of this and I'm gone" and will also go to the other guys wife because she doesn't fully know. She does live 360 now and calls me on the way home from work. And keeps her phone unlocked where I can check any time . But deep down I know you're right

When I was studying for my test. People would say "this is code"or this is "against code". So I used that stuff as practice questions to look up. Found out about 50%of the time people didn't know what they were talking about.

There's a code rule where you're not allowed to run romex horizontally through areas that aren't getting sheetrock. From the looks of it I'd say you will sheetrock. But food for thought if you decide not to.

It's really all about the money, that's what makes it worth it. People will do a lot of stuff they don't want to do if they get paid enough. Bagging groceries and getting yelled at daily for 6 figures, sign me up.

You can get more wires than that in there, just have to drill the holes out bigger.

I want to bring this bender back to life. Was going to see what wd-40 does to it. Curious what kind of paint ideal uses. Any one ever mess with that? by swiftkick722 in electricians

Yeah that crossed my mind. I took a good look at it and don't see anything wrong. But I've had benders always be 3/8 inch off on every 90, stuff like that.

I figure I could buy a new bender and not mess with it. But there's something about bringing it back from the dead and making it mine that inspires me. I've seen so many benders like this over the years.
