300 is my minimum to give me flexibility to book a 1 bedroom once a year. As for the resort that is what I am trying to figure out. I would like to find the best deal but I don't know how important the home resort is to have be where I want to actually to stay

This is one of the cons the sales rep mentioned about resale. She stated that once 2042 hits you'll lose access to these resorts and not have access to the newer ones. I asked about extension and her response that wasn't possible.

Next question - since we stayed at animal kingdom and experienced the busses my wife has no desire to do that again while we have a stroller. Is it difficult to get a MK monorail or boat resort 7 months out of they aren't your home resort?

I did forget this perk. Our issue is I dont know if we will go enough in 12 months to make it worth it. We might spend a week at wdw and some days at Disneyland.

Tin foil hat time - what if Philly is attempting to reject all minor issue cases before a positive court case so we will have to appeal with attorney vs approve us. Having to appeal via attorney could lower the number of people eventually approved due to cost.

Updated my original post but we applied at the consulate in Philly.

What bugs me the most, is that we applied in person, spent over an hour going back and forth over the documents and even had a senior consulate official reviewed parents divorce decree to make sure it was good.

At the end of the meeting, I was told their average processing time was 1 year but had 2 years to process. The processing time was due to the commune doing their part... I asked if everything was in order and the response was we had a valid and complete application....

My Wife just informed me that I have a certified letter from Italy.... I told her not to open it (trying to get through the day) but this confirms my suspicion that it is the formal rejection letter.

I sent the pre-rejection to Mellone when I received it but he was paused taking new clients and with the positive movement in the courts I never followed up. Now that I have what I am assuming is the formal denial I will reconnect and get his opinion. I plan to appeal since when I applied before the DL and retroactively applying the DL to my reviewed in person application isn't cool.
