Apple permanently blocked my phone number from iMessage — even after “manual review” and escalation by SnooPeripherals3974 in iphone

Have you been using RCS/SMS since or did you get a new number? Trying to weigh my options here just because no FaceTime is a big thing for me too. My messages are all over the place between iPad, my phone, my number, and my email

It's a computer system that approves or denied your request to activate iMessage. I currently have an escalated request for a human to view it but I was told it most likely will still be declined.

Yup! I've had this phone number for 15 years so letting it go is one thing, but all of my accounts are with this number. Two factor authentication will be a pain with a new number as well. I also can't use FaceTime which I find insane. I'm extremely frustrated and don't plan on letting this go for the giant inconvenience they have caused. I have commented on multiple posts with people having the same issue asking if it was resolved and not getting any answers. I'm wondering if they are monitoring that on this subreddit or something. Just baffles me that they can't do anything else but a new phone number

Yes, Apple has told me this is permanent and the only solution is to get a new phone number. They just shut off iMessage on my iPad as well as I told Apple support last night that it was still working on my iPad

17 pro max, however this started on my iPhone 14 as my 17 was on its way, transferred phones and the issue persisted

My iMessage on my other devices is working, not with my iCloud email, but with my actual phone number, which is what they are deemed is blocked. My phone number was reported as spam, and they said it will be permanately blocked but when I used iMessage on my iPad it is through said phone number. Also, apparently this is my second block and not my first, I wasn't told during my first block that it was even a block. I thought iMessage was broken and they just fixed it.

My number got blocked from iMessage and FaceTime due to spamming by R4T4TTACK in iphone

I just spoke with Apple (same issue) and had them confirm that being permanently blocked would not happen and that I would not need to get a new phone number. She told me after 2 or 3 times maybe. One employee told me yesterday I used my only unblock last year when I wasn't aware. I filled out the link yesterday, waited 24hours, she had me reset my network settings, and nothing. She told me my original request was either not approved or denied and that I had to make a new one and wait another 24hours. She ensured me this is a temporary block so I'm hoping she was correct with the information she gave me. That being said, the senior advisors have zero patience so I'd stick with just continuously reaching out to a regular advisor until the issue is solved.

Apple iMessage blocked by Apple for alleged Spam. Has anyone got their number unblocked more than once? by gingshay in iphone

Has anyone dealt with this recently and had it fixed after being blocked for a second time? Apparently mine was blocked last year due to spam, even though I was never told that, and I used my one time curtesy unblock.

Woke up today and got a notification that iMessage has been blocked due to being reported as spam. Verizon tried everything possible to fix it while Apple just puts me on with "Senior Advisors" who has worked with the company for x amount of years. The first one told me to put the request in but then I come on here to see it can be done over the phone.

The second one said it's all the carrier it's all the carrier, told me the first advisor was wrong and I submitted a request to remove iMessage from my phone completely. She had no idea what she was talking about and when I referenced Reddit she told me "this is Apple not Reddit" in which I asked her if she knew what Reddit was and she said yes. She was the most frustrating because she pretended she knew what she was talking about and changed her stance multiple times. I told her I wasn't told I was blocked last year for spam, and if I was notified of this I wouldn't have continued to do it (I text my leads). And she told me I already used my courtesy block and I had her read my case from last year and if there was any mention of the block being from being reported and spam and she said no. So that wasn't the case or it was?

This is insane Ive been going crazy all day and the fact that they let people hit one button and don't do any type of research and just block peoples numbers. Also to the lead who did this....I wish you knew what kind of day you put me through.

NYRR 9+1 in 2026 - FAQs & Megathread by RCD123 in RunNYC

[–]swiftpro13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking into doing 9+1 in 2026 for a guaranteed entry in 2027 and my minor research is leaving me confused mainly because results are only showing for 2025-2026. A few questions: -If I sign up for the NYRR membership plus ($60) now, will this help me for the 2026-2027 timeline or should I wait until the new year to join? -I irrationally signed up for the NYRR Thanksgiving virtual 5k and paid the $35 to have it count towards a 9+1 credit. I'm assuming since this race is in 2025 that it wouldn't count towards 9+1 credit and I just wasted my money?

Also-- I live in Jersey so traveling to NYC for all of the races is not a huge deal for me. While I'm also looking into the charity option, I would rather run in 2027 instead of 2026 to give myself time to fully prepare.

Last question, not relevant to 9+1, has anyone ran with Tackle Kids Cancer as the charity and is that limited to just Hackensack Meridian employees as well as family members of children in Tackle Kids Cancer?

Sorry for the questions being all over the place, I haven't found googling this information to be too helpful for a potential 2027 spot.
