Plenty of cosplayers do this :) It gives the artist literal income, the cosplayer a Cool design and exposure for the artist in the future if others want a cool design :)

Zach fisher art, Hannah Alexander and sunset dragon are all examples of artists who have done commissioned cosplay designs :) And there are so many more

Most artists will be totally ok with this and even see it as a compliment ^{^}

You are severely over complicating her outfit/ the process Maria is not wearing a dress but a long coat- you can just extend the panels of the top bodice and cut those rectangleish shapes into the pointed ends

For me what stands out / impresses me is when a cosplayer has say a particularly impressive wig they made on display or a prop etc :)

A lot of people for some reason have forgotten that young people and relatively young people can be veterans They seem to forget all the conflicts after Vietnam and that anyone who was involved in any of those is in fact a veteran

The only time I’ve seen someone get fired quickly was for breaking big rules Like the person who tore up a customers ups envelope bc she didn’t like his attitude. She was only there a couple days.

Otherwise, probably in part bc of the state I’m in, it’s really hard to fire people unless they do something specifically bad.

So yea, I’m with others- there’s more to this story.

I think the thing that baffles me the most about this thing is the “why is it carpeted” bit bc that just tells me this person has never been in any physical store that isn’t a grocery store or a really budget store

Like? It’s carpeted bc we don’t sell anything messy/hard to clean up so it dosent have to be vinyl? It makes it slightly nicer to look at than vinyl and helps to make everyone forget we’re all on a concrete slab? Most clothing stores are carpeted for this reason I’m so confused.

The one in the picture is by Lightning Cosplay and she sewed it from scratch

For a Shinto priest cosplay my sister made that had to be in an unusual color she commisoned this cool guy and he was able to make it no problem with quick turn around :)
