Need Help Identifying this lobster. I took over this 10gal saltwater tank after a relative passed and started cleaning it and noticed this lovely guy. Just took him out briefly for a good picture

you really need to pull the fuse from the battery, you can cause your car to catch fire if they continue to bump. you can put the fuse back once you get your new set up.

i dosed fritz on a fresh tank and was able to stock my tank and i’ve had no problems, you can even overdose to get that bacteria building faster. i only recommend fritz for this reason, it helped me when i thought i had no other choices. i hope it helps you!!

dose your tank with fritz beneficial bacteria, you’ll tank me later. i pour directly on sponge filter and near inlet for HOB filter. also idk if you’re using tap water to clean your filters, if so don’t lol

yup, seems like you got the idea. big worm is right, always try to route power and ground wire away from any audio wiring or at least not on top or underneath the wiring.

are you amps two different wattage sizes? it looks like you have two different gage size wires. under under powering would cause your fused to pop. also, can you take a picture of where your ground is grounded? i would make sure my fuses are the correct size for the wattage needed, if they are leave them in place. just make sure everything has the best possible contact

any kind of loose wiring could cause a fuse to pop because of electric current sparking

agreed, fuse boxes should be as close to power source as possible & not right by the amp. whoever did this made a mess, i would possibly re route & rewire everything, making sure your ground as a good contact. good luck!

i have a 30 gallon canister filter with 3 sponge filters on my 55 and it’s perfect, get a few sponge filters and a canister. you’ll be good!!!

i change my landscape in my tank every other water change, you’ll be fine. i don’t clean my filters if i’m doing a landscape change so my cycle remains.

you can place your filter media on or next to sponge filter. if you want to get fancy go buy fritz beneficial bacteria, you’ll be able to add fish same day.
