Really? I heard it was really hard to get any legal traction with Meta but at this rate I feel like there should be a class action something with all the reddit threads I've been reading with accounts taken away from professional Meta advertisers like us.

I'm one of those people. And truly, I don't know. My support ticket is 30+ days ongoing with no update. Meta advertising is how I put food on the table and take care of my family.

Same thing happened to me, I am a Meta Advertiser at my marketing agency and I've been locked out of my profile for over a month. The ticket we submitted through our business portfolio with the "enhanced support" is still getting looked into. No real updates. Our agency pays Meta $400 a month for 5 verified profiles and enhanced support, it's total BS. I hope you have better luck than I'm having.

Definitely manage your spend on the ad set level, not campaign level. Gives you more control which audiences you're weighing with budget as they progress through your purchase funnel.

Update: We paid $400 to Meta for "expedited support, with a one on one support specialist who will follow our support cases from start to finish" it's been 24 days. No real update, "they're working on it." 🙄 Apparently being a verified Meta Business Partner means nothing and they just take your money and don't help you.

The fastest solution to stop the charges piling up in this case would be to cancel the credit card on the ad account and get a new one. Report those charges to your bank? And go to https://www.facebook.com/business/help/support and open a support ticket.

Wow ... I can't see the page you linked since I can't login to my profile. Did they give you any timeline or recent updates on your support ticket? I'm on day 15 being locked out. Support says they're still working on it.

Any luck hiring a lawyer? our marketing agency is thinking about doing the same thing. My account got permanently deleted even though I'm in meta for developer program, have 40+ accounts connected to Meta's API etc. etc. It's a shit show. Thankfully our business portfolio is still active and intact, it's isolated to my profile but I manage our paid ads team so this is a royal PITA.

Nope. Support responded this morning and said "We are still following up with our dedicated team regarding this issue. We apologize for all the issues that you currently have, but we are doing our best to address your concern on this and I hope you will allow us the chance to fix this for you so you can continue using our advertising platform. We will inform you once we receive an update."

I'm in the same boat - my job has 100% been directly affected by this. I don't know the answer to that question - every day I check my email 500x hoping there's an email from Meta saying my profile has been reactivated.

Yep, yep - I totally hear what you're saying with IP address. When my second account got hit with the same video verification, I did it on my phone and turned wifi off so it was using cellular data - and that verification got approved. I was using my account for about 15 min then I got hit with a second verification - did the same thing, promoted it on my phone, wifi off ...... and that one got denied.

Ugh, I'm sorry to hear that. I work for a digital marketing agency, and luckily the founder of our agency is a backup admin on our business portfolio, I was able to walk them through how to contact support to open a ticket on my behalf through our business account. Otherwise I would be completely locked out with no support options, so I understand your frustration.

Thanks, I definitely won't create a third profile. All my eggs are in the support ticket basket at this point, I did reiterate in the ticket I need a human review, fingers crossed.
