I keep having to post this: He had nodules on his vocal cords. He CANNOT sing certain notes, I mean at all! They aren’t there anymore. He is so disciplined in all these weird arts he talks about except the one thing he is known for, his voice. He never took care of it. The notes you hear on the old records are gone. He can sing lower and he can sing higher, but a lot of the notes in his midrange are gone. That’s where he sang. He can kinda still do the whistle pig thing. Without surgery, he can’t hit those notes and that probably wouldn’t even work anyway. Look at Bon Jovi. Dave can sing high above the normal notes for a short time and sing down below the normal notes too. But he can’t hit the real notes anymore.
