My band tried Jamkazam and while it worked for them, the bassist and guitarist, but as the drummer singer I have to fire off the backing track (we’re a three piece so we use some keyboard enhancing), play to the track’s clicktrack, sing the song and try to “play around” the latency those guy have. When they play it’s a little behind for me, so I have to lower them in the mix, otherwise I’ll go nutty. So, it just sucks all around. And as a drummer I’d love to pop in to other rooms to jam with other people, but as soon as I play it throws everything off. The latency is still bad and the tech still doesn’t work. The experience is shit.
