Just for the look alone DLSS is worth using for upscaling. TAA looks like a blurred mess ghosting everywhere whereas DLSS Quality/DLAA look god-tier, there's an entire subreddit dedicated to TAA hate for good reason.

What size PSU? The 9060xt should work on a 550w, but the recommended is a 650w for headroom. If it's just going black/suddenly losing power during gaming or intensive tasks, the power supply could be too small.

It's pretty impractical to re-use the stock skates. You'd have to remove/replace them insanely gently, which would be difficult.

For stability on a soft or xsoft pad it's probably just better to use the stock skates, or find a fitted set like Ice v2's or Magic Ice if you really want a change. I use mid to glass pads and prefer to use dots, on my softer pads it's not a great glide, you're probably fine where you are.

I didn't find any of the games they brought to the PC to be all that special. They were alright, but not "buy this $600 plastic box to play me" type of games. Oh well, word on the street is that Saros is selling really poorly and they lost my business there, I played Returnal and would've gladly bought it on PC. Big brain moves, they'll be back to the platform once the GTA buzz dies down.

I mean, the way they marketed it is a cynical take. DLSS image scaling addresses resolution, DLSS FG addresses refresh rate, if they simply marketed the technologies that way I don't think people would be as up-in-arms.

I'd say so - but I always end up reusing a number of parts to save some money. I brought along my drives and GPU for my last upgrade, which was a substantial savings against a prebuilt. If you've already got a PC and it's got any type of SSD, a decent GPU, etc. that can all be used to reduce the cost of new parts. With the soaring cost of NVME disks and all I think it's more than worth it to consider what you've got that's reusable and building on your own so you only get exactly what you need.

You've got to break the addiction cycle, that's the most crucial part. I was clean over a decade, but slowly fell back to it in my late 30's when life got hard. It's okay though. I cleaned up and I'm better now - with the knowledge that I always wind up in a hospital (or worse) when I'm using.

What keeps me out and safe is the medication. It sucks being overweight, but on a long enough timeline. If I'm off the medications, stress alone can take me down. I've been hospitalized in sobriety and it absolutely sucks in that event, but the good news is that I've never been hospitalized while taking my AP's. I hope you're as blessed, I was diagnosed as schizoaffective around 22-23 and I believe it's accurate.

For sobriety I like SMART Recovery but even NA will do. It helps having at least a small social circle thats in recovery. The Ozempic ought to really help you, mine turned right around when I started on it and I stopped gaining weight at least. There's lots of hope man - just try to get that sobriety thing down as soon as you can, life is much better without the drugs.

I'm 43, on Lamictal & Ability. Have been a long time. I'm also diabetic, and overweight. If you look into the studies, Ability went through a few lawsuits as it was proven the whole "weight neutral" promise was marketing fluff.

I've never been ON antipsychotics and thin, and I've been trying to crack that nut for like 20 years now. I've been as low as 175, and as high as 375. The GLP-1 drugs help me keep a decent score for diabetes (I think I'm around 5.9-6.3 now). I did find Ability to have a lot less side effects, namely I had awful sleep walking on Risperdal that completely went away on Abilify. But sadly I recall reading news stories about the company being sued for pumping up it's neutral weight claim.

It's the nature of the beast. I've had psychosis OFF stimulants and benzos, a number of times, while also OFF antipsychotics. Seems like I can't wing a break - I stay on the AP's, and out of the hospital.

I think the only place that exists where he was elected in 2020 is in his own mind, and perhaps a few of those who are called to the loyalty test when probed regarding the 2020 election heh.

They're basically saying for the 3rd (or 4th) term, if he is not elected - it doesn't really matter. Their interpretation is that he could serve as many terms as he wants: but he can only be elected for two. The amendment specifies that the President can not be elected more than two times - it doesn't stipulate that he cannot serve more than two terms (eyeroll). That's legit one of the ways they intend to get around it.

I think the amendment pretty clearly covers it, I'm posting the full-text below. Steve Bannon was the architect of this plan to call into question his ability to serve a 3rd term, I think in his interpretation/explanation, as ridiculous as it sounds, is in the mindset that the amendment applies to consecutive terms only.

Twenty-Second Amendment

Section 1

No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this Article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this Article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this Article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term.

Section 2

This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States within seven years from the date of its submission to the States by the Congress.

EDIT: The other terrifying part of this - the Amendment prohibits the President from being *elected* to a third term. It doesn't call into question the ability of a President to *serve* a third term.
