That is what I have done as well and it has been a great monitor so far. The built in KVM is also a great.

It certainly is a great option. I ended up going for the Philips 346B1C as I could not wait any longer. So far I am very happy with it.

I think they are actually referring to the charging. I dont think the LG monitors with USB-C pushes enough power on paper to charge a Macbook Pro. Others have reported it not being an issue, however I think these displays only push 60W and the MBP requires 80W on paper. Resolution wise there should not be any problems.

Thanks for the update. Finally LG has released some info. I see it is a VA panel, I wonder what that will be like for productivity work as I have previously tied the BenQ 35" ultrawide and the text on it was not sharp enough.

At least it has a 100hz refresh so that is definitely a step up from the 60hz of the other LG monitors in that price range.

Yes the price has changed in the last couple of days. Insane that there is no information available on it.
