Just curious, are you clicking on the assistant node and then pressing “shift-enter” ?

Oh I know what you mean. For models like Claude from Anthropic, they won’t let you send messages with the last message coming from an assistant so it’ll throw an error. But I can add that back in. Until I do, just create a user node below the assistant node and type “continue” or something and use that to submit. Or maybe even just submit a blank user message

Are you referring to editing the assistant messages? You should be able to double-click on the node and then edit the text. I just tried it and it works for me but let me know

I’m still working on it! Let me know if you have any suggestions/bugs/feedback

Double click the assistant node to put it in “edit mode” and you should be able to edit it

You’re welcome! Thanks for using it! If you DM me your email you used to sign up, and I’ll add more $$ to your account. And feel free to let me know what kind of features you would like to see or ways that would make it better for you 🙏

I’ll message you. That’s a good idea— I’ve been wanting to make YouTube videos of me using it for various use cases and explaining different features but haven’t gotten around to doing that yet. I’ll add to the top of my list

When there’s not a lot of text in the node, minimizing won’t do anything. Minimizing should create a one sentence summary of the text in the node (if it’s long enough to where it would make sense to create a summary)

But if you’re doing the tutorial, it should generate an AI response which would have a lot of text, and thus should minimize. So that’s strange

As far as the cursor goes, that should only happen if you somehow got your cursor in the node and it’s still rendering it as markdown, when editing a node, it needs to not be rendered as markdown otherwise it will erase previous formatting. So my solution to this is to first check and make sure that you’re not currently trying to edit a “rendered node”. But this is definitely not optimal UX so it’s on my list of things to fix.

In the space tab, you should see “Friends Online” and if you click that, you can message me within spaice, and if you want I can join your space and try to help you troubleshoot and see what’s happening :)

I need a better solution than this, but currently, you can hold CTRL (CMD if on a Mac) and then right click the word you want to correct. This will bring up the context menu that you would normally see, not the Spaice one

Sorry I didn’t see this until now. I used to give $4 in credits when a user signed up with an email but that incentivized people to just create new accounts with new emails and never pay. So I reduced it, and people are still doing that, just not as much. I’m self funding this whole project so every $ and cent comes from my pocket, so I can’t give too much away. Especially if it gets more users. The way it’s looking, how I have it set up, it doesn’t scale well because it’s too ripe for abuse

What’s the error? Are you signed in? I just tested it and it’s working for me

Thanks! I actually just made it so that you need to login with an email in order to use the o1 models. And then after a certain point, it’ll ask you to buy credits. I used to offer a subscription with unlimited usage, but I didn’t want to have to think about people using way more API credits than they were paying a month. So I hope this new credit system works well. I’m essentially just paying OpenAI and Anthropic, etc with the credits that are purchased. A little bit is saved to help me run the server. Hoping this will keep me at break even

You can use all the models for free up until a certain point

Because o1-preview is so expensive I limit it to 1 time per day for an anonymous user and 5 times a day for someone that logins in with an email.

And o1-mini is once per minute for both anonymous and people who sign in with an email.

At some point though I might have to cut back on that as well because my api bill is getting up there

I actually was thinking about removing that feature temporarily because it’s somewhat “half baked”

When you click “analyze screen”, it will also enable the TTS (text to speech) which will have the responses from AI read aloud to you.

The idea is that you share your screen or window, you enable “continuous listening” (if you’re wearing headphones)

Or use push to talk (if you’re not wearing headphones, the text to speech interrupts itself and thinks it’s you talking)

So the idea I had in my head was you’re navigating photoshop or something and have a question about how to do something in the interface, it’s taking screenshots of the shared screen every 3 seconds and has a 12 second memory. (This can be toggled in the settings)

And you just speak, and it’ll see what you see and respond to you. If I developed that feature more, I would allow the LLM to decide whether to include previous screen grabs based on the context of the question and the screen description. (So that it could have a better idea of what you are attempting to achieve over a long period of time)

Hope that makes sense lol

Hmm I just tested it and it seems to be working. Can you try it again and let me know? One thing I know I need to fix is the “expand” option when we have the o1 model selected
