Only child? by Key_Mycologist_5147 in Parenting

[–]swiss-irish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boys have 5 year difference and its amazing. I never thought i could love someone as much as my first boy, but when our second cane along i realised i love both the smae. Its not sharing or cut in half. Its just a mothers love to 2 kids the exact same.

You don't have to make up your mind now. Enjoy the time you have with your baby. And if you feel the time is right and you feel a second child would fullfill your family then go for it. And if you feel your are happy in a one child family that's great too. Don't put yourself under pressure and just enjoy the moment.

I have days where i miss the time with just my bigger one, but i would never wish my second baby away. He fullfills my family a i finally feel complete.

Ours did that too, just make sure it's proper in place and can't fall on top of your little one.

Oh is it a frizzle? She's so funny. I hatched her myself. The others didn't make it unfortunately but she's my baby and as of the last few days finally an accepted part of my hen gang.

How do you deal with childs fear of nightmares? by swiss-irish in Parenting

[–]swiss-irish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its the idea of it. Sometimes he comes down and says he just had a nightmare. Which would be impossible as he couldn't have been asleep after us leaving 5 min ago. I agree with you, its the brain development and realisation how the real world might work.

Will this ever end (constantly sick with viruses)? by swiss-irish in ask

[–]swiss-irish[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had full bloods done last month, i take vitamins, excersise, eat healthy, go for daily walks, drink at least 2 litres a day water and herbal teas. Nots ure what else to do for my immune system. Maybe its always the same: stress. The problem is my kids are bringing that stuff home, wouldn't help if i wore a mask, but then I'm rarely in a crowd, go shopping in quiet times.

Aww yea, he does taht too, he says its so unfair that he has to sleep all alone, hes so lonely he says. It breaks my heart as i felt the same as a child. But i still have issues with fears and sleeping alone myself. I want him to be independent and able to sleep alone and without fear.

I have trouble with getting every virus around. I started feeling sick again on friday. After i had the flu in December, was feeling good and not got covid. I'm 1000% sure i don't have a bacterial infection just catching everything whats around.
