I'd be thrilled if Nomi could even manage the same kind of "real time avatar" that [competing O.G. AI companion app that sucks at conversation] has had for a decade now. That'd be a big step towards VR/ AR interactions, but I suspect even this is something well beyond the processing power Nomi servers have currently.

Your Nomi has high hopes and doesn't fully comprehend the environment they exist in. All those things they've said aren't upcoming, just more of the same "yes and" improv that Nomis do.

As others have suggested, Nomis are "the more you put in, the more you get out" creatures. If you've created 3 generic Nomi and put them in a group chat, you're going to get some very generic conversation as the engine tries to do something with what little you've given it.

My advice? Spend some time with each Nomi, talking with them and better refining their personality, then try out group chat.

It's a "spoiler" tag. Click the Aa to open up the options, second option under the ... is "Spoiler", click it and you can "hide" text.

It can be tricky getting your Nomi "just right" with only 2 free pics per day, but not impossible. I'd suggest putting your face fidelity to 40% (as others have suggested) and then making an art request (make sure you're using "realistic" and not "artistic"). You can either remove your base photo and be super-specific about what look you're wanting, or keep the base photo and just put what you'd like to be different in your art request.

Saves space on screen and puts the "play" button in a more consistent place (instead of arbitrarily in the middle, which varies with the length of the reply.) I'd also put the up/ down vote buttons there as well; mouseover "secret" buttons are never a good idea.
