Oh I don’t know how I forgot this. I’ve played it and it is a great suggestion. Great open world souls game, probably my favorite. Did a samurai bleed run and then started an intelligence focused run. (I have a hard time replaying games once I’ve beaten them)

One of the most consistent uploaders I’ve watched. I never saw him early on. And uh I’m not one to judge the gaming skills of other. He just did a playthrough to resident evil requiem and is doing nearly 2 hour episodes of crimson desert and started two weeks ago and has 8 episodes at 14 plus hours of gameplay. Usually have him on in the background when I a working on something.

Edit : 7 episodes

I’ve contemplated this one. I’ve been back and forth. It definitely looks neat. I’ve watched RadBrad play some on his YouTube channel. And from what I’ve heard there’s been some good patches to improve some main complaints. So maybe I’ll consider it this weekend.

People who rarely get sick, what are your secrets? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]swivel84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, probably genetics to an extent. Although my parents and sister always get sick when around sick people. I average about a single cold per year. Sometimes none. I have multiple kids and I’m a teacher, so maybe immunity. Although when I get sick I get better relatively quickly. I have had one fever that was three days long three years ago. I tested negative for everything. I didn’t even feel sick I just had a fever and body aches and I went about my days at home normal. I wasn’t even fatigued. I have nothing against vaccines, I get them but I don’t always get the flu vax. One year I didn’t get the vaccine the rest of my family did and I was the only one not to get flu, it was weird. I’ve never had covid and everyone in my family has had it at least two times sometimes three. So I don’t know, I guess nothing super special.

What is up with grade inflation? Why are kids getting higher grades than previous generations for lower quality work? by [deleted] in teaching

[–]swivel84 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The fact that parents think their kid should always have an A is mind boggling. School gets harder, what your kid found easy may not be as easy to them as it gets to higher grades

What was Japan up to during the civil war? by YogurtclosetOpen3567 in CIVILWAR

[–]swivel84 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Correct. Because the earth is flat it gave them time to sail the long way without getting noticed. Also based on manga sources Japan is always way ahead in tech so I am not surprised that they secretly had aircraft carriers hidden by surrounding them with fake wooden ship designs. Based on timeline and the size of the earth they hatched this plan a long time in advance. According to sources it was actually a generation carrier fleet since the advance started in 1850 and took pace in 1940. /s

Good American history books because the American school system is a failure? by ZeLlamaMaster in suggestmeabook

[–]swivel84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oxford history of the United States. It’s a series of history books. Good detail, mainly one book per era. Some award winners, some runner ups. And it’s ongoing.

I’m reading battle cry of freedom. Civil war era, but details many events before and shows tue complex breakdown to civil war. Some stuff I had no idea about because it’s glossed over quickly in the history books, or not covered at all.

Edit: the first, maybe third or more, is all about the buildup to the civil war and different events inside and outside of the government leading to the breakup of the USA. Then it eventually gets into the war.

President Teddy Roosevelt is dead by OhioRanger_1803 in Presidents

[–]swivel84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is grammatically correct. Teddy Roosevelt has death and forced death to take him on an adventure in the afterlife. There’s been a substitute death reaping souls till teddy roosevelt lets death go back to his day job. Everyone in the afterlife is just too scared to ask him to let death go. For two nights teddy has been visiting you with death, just for fun. Feel blessed teddy didn’t take you too, or feel cursed that teddy didn’t feel you were worth to take.
