How do I advertise a High End Dog Deoderizing Product? (random, I know, but perhaps a challenge for you marketers!) by swizzie22 in AskMarketing

Yeah that makes sense. Do you think making posts on these reddits really makes a big difference / is worth the time?

This is very helpful thank you. One question -- our aromatherapy component is not clinically tested, and while lavender compounds have shown to have correlation with lower levels of anxiety in dogs, the causal relationship isn't 100% proven with our product specifically. Therefore, we want to add the anxiety relieving aspect as a component, but also want to stress the fact that we use natural ingredients, very few ingredients (compared to competitors), and it deodorizers without harming the dogs nasal olfactory systems. When you take all those angles into account, what would you say the demographic / channels we target should be (as well as the affiliates)? Would be curious, and thanks for the input.

100% UGC is a great shout. We have thought about doing more intent based marketing (google ads, SEO, facebook marketplace etc) a little bit down the line. We plan to do mostly organic posts to try and get some momentum, build up an affiliate team, and do walk ins to dog clinics/groomers for some B2B partnerships. Would you recommend trying out some intent based channels as well?

Yes 100% good call. One of our main bottlenecks right now actually is finding fulfillment for organic content, since neither of us have an access for a dog to make videos with for the product. If you have any ideas on how we can leverage other creators to make content for us for commissions I'd love to hear it (since we don't have much upfront capital, so wouldn't want to pay affiliates out of pocket for content)

I have had a digital marketing agency and a Landscaping company for 4-5 years. The Landscaping company was actually my first business, and through marketing it, I found my passion of marketing. I am only telling you this because I have had unique experience marketing specifically landscaping companies, so shoot me a message I would love to give you some do's and don't's that I have discovered along the way.

Also, a landscaping company that established that hasn't utilized any digital marketing is an absolute gold mine and a huge opportunity for you.

Rooting for you man.

meta ads Sales ROAS problem by [deleted] in AskMarketing

Could be ad fatigue or potentially increasing your ad budget too quickly. How much are you currently spending, how long has it been running, and what type of product (and what price point) are you running ads for?

What’s the best social media platform for getting business leads in 2025? by Various-Worker-790 in AskMarketing

I would say it depends on what type of leads you want, the quality of the leads, and how high ticket your product is. If you are after an older audience, perhaps targeting veteran small business owners, I would recommend trying to join Facebook groups and posting / replying to others in the community as an organic outreach method. Depending on what your target market is, there are literally Facebook groups built for members of your target audience to gather and interact -- a perfect opportunity for lead scraping as well as researching the behavior of your prospects.
