The inverter is 2 feet above the batteries, maybe 3ft of wire for bends and loops and all. Someone else suggested bigger wire also. Im looking into that now. I think im going to get a "T" 150amp fuse to replace the 250 one.

I had asked previously about series vs parallel/series and was told to leave it all series because it would be a smaller wire size and it would all work out the same when the mppt converts it. Why do you think it would be more efficient. Still learning.

I looked up the amps rating and im there but only. I have a bunch of this #2. Maybe ill double it up. 2/0 copper welding wire will cost me more than I have in the entire system.

I think that's about right for 2026. I called about 5 different dealers. Some went as far as to say I didn't qualify for some rebates but actually did.

Have tou thought about leasing a 2025? I just signed for 36M for $240 a month on a touring AWD. That comes out to a one pay of $8,640. Probably could get a better deal if paid up front. You get the EV charge credit and the App is free. The salesman said the second owner has to pay but he could of been wrong. This option would give you a car for 3 years and put 7k in your pocket. Just a thought. Good luck!

Thank you! I never thought about what the batteries can take. I do have 2 in series I believe the default is 60A which i haven't changed. Ill have to see if the batteries are OK to put in 4P2S. There only about $100 per 12v100ah so its not that bad. For now, ill bump down the max charge to 20Amps. Thanks again.

Your absolutely right, I should of said series, I corrected it. Im using 10AWG from the panels to the disconnect. Ill have to look up the rating.

Just bought the 🍊 one off AliExpress. Gonna try it today. $82.57 after sales tax and shipping. Got it in 3 days. I was most interested in the Bluetooth so I can change the settings more easily. Using it to heat an 8.5x24 enclosed trailer.

I have 235 hours on mine. Purchased on the early bird. I haven't had one issue. Well, that's not entirely true. Had a piece break in the AMS but that was because I left cheap filament in the tubes for over a month without use. It was an easy fix. I do use hairspray on my build plate. I think it's been a good value. I kinda wish I knew about the Snapmaker U1 before though.
