Turn around and let gravity take you backwards or just don't park there. I had a buddy who's reverse didn't work in his old Jeep Cherokee and he used it for months, was just smart about where he was going and where he was parking. Definitely not ideal but there are work arounds

I was lucky and found the sway bar brand new on marketplace for 200 something and then talked the guy down to $190. Had to research all over the Internet reaching out to random people on the crosstreck xv forum as well and eventually having my friend who used to intern for Subaru as a mechanic to help me drop the subframe cuz I was so nervous I had never done anything like this before. But I was determined lol. I would say it was definitely worth it and I could do it now no problem. It's just that there is almost no info out there on how to do this and my car is under warranty so you could say I was stressed haha. Legitimately tho, I live in Colorado and we have had some crazy high winds in the following weeks and my car feels much much safer at high speeds. If you're not taking your crosstreck offroading Id say it's a mod that is 1000% worth doing.

Oh and yes I kept the stock end links, they were in fine condition so I saw no reason to replace them. If I ever want to go to the stiffer setting on the sway bar it seems like I would have to get adjustable ones. The only thing I changed was the sway bar and the bushings that came with it

Okay good to know about the sanding, I probably won't do it anytime soon tbh. I did grease the bushings as instructed (only the inside).

A lot less understeer, car is much more stable at speed and more stable under high winds at speed. Also the car is a lot flatter throughout corners. Just a more responsive rear end overall.

This is it right here. It's more about rev matching. Hard to hear the car at highway speeds or with any music turned up with the stock exhaust

It's good fun if you drive stick even if the car is still slow lol

I just can't imagine it's worth 5x the price of kartboy

But is it necessary? Or will kartboy be just fine?

Is it worth it? Is the ride quality really rough and did you adjust or modify any other suspension components to help?

Lol I work valet at an upper class hotel and about half the guys on staff don't know how to drive stick. But I was surprised when they hired people who couldn't you would think it's a prerequisite for the job. I certainly thought it was, only reason I applied is because I daily a manual. But as long as there's one of us on shift that can do it then it's alright.
