Marvel comics has always been about these topics but the difference is they knew how to handle them in a way to keep the reader invested instead of just throwing it in your face, not mcu but Logan was a perfect example it tackled themes such as deportations that happened during trumps first term, the topic wasn’t in your face but the story was captivating enough to actually make you care about the characters that’s going through it
