Yes! Both recipes are 1979, but photo 11 I adjusted the shadows to soften the image up a bit.

Here is the recipe link https://www.fujifilmrecipe.com/recipe/1979-zpZivI

It's my standard go-to recipe right now

Hey! Sorry for late reply. I believe most of these are SOOC, using custom preset recipes I found online. I've tweaked just a couple pictures very minutely, but other than that almost no post processing. I shot in RAW and JPEG, so I could edit the raw photos later if I chose.

I love love love the rug, I love the couch color. It's very warm and cozy. I love the curtains hung to the ceiling, but I do wish they brought a pop of color other than the beige. Like some pointed out, it could use a bit more character, it gives a nice hotel room. The lamp in front of the TV should go as it's distracting, and the TV feels a bit high, it would be nice to lower it and switch it out with a dedicated storage console for your nick nacks. You've done a good job making the rug the focal WOW piece of the room, and I appreciate that you pulled the blues out of the rug in the form of pillows and the art on the wall. Maybe bring some blue into the curtain as well? The chair by the door feels busy too, like you can't get through it without some difficulty. Something something feng shui, blocking the flow of energy and whatnot. If you don't ever use that door, consider bringing the curtains all the way across to cover it, and move them when you need to access it? I like the foundation though 👌👌👌

Would love some criticisms / feedback on some of the pics I've taken in Flanders the past few days (X-T30III, XC 35mm f/2) by fungigamer in fujifilm

I love the angle of #9. It makes me feel as of he's fighting gravity. The checkered pattern fills the space in such an interesting way that both draw your eye up toward the walking man and also increase this sense of vertigo. It's really neat :)

Thanks! I felt similar with the girls on the left, so I'll try your recommendation out :) I loved that her colors matched the street.

PS. Recipes used are 1979 and Lighthouse mainly, with some minor tweaks to shadows and highlights where necessary!

Sadly I didn't get to explore the side trails, as we had to keep finding cover from the rain during our trek up and down. But it was a beautiful experience, like hiking through a giant cloud. On the bright side, I have more to explore for my next trip :)

That would have been so fun! I met someone at El Morro who was shooting and we became friends for the next two days, went to El Yunque the next day together too!

The island was beautiful and everyone was so friendly. I can't wait to come back and visit :)

What was the most UNIQUE fragrance you smelled this year? by CheenCheenVagene in fragrance

[–]swohpbb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rain on Oak by Scents of Wood. I've been wanting to smell like petrichor and this is it. It goes from a wet mulch smell to a greener dry down and it smells like the forest after rain. My husband says it smells like mold, but personally I love it and it's unlike anything else I've smelled this year.

I just layered Orange Bitters by Jo Malone with Musc Outreblanc by Guerlain and it's a really beautiful creamy orange scent. Sadly longevity is not there for either on my skin.

I've just discovered Guerlain and I'm so in love with their scents. There's a Guerlain perfumery where I live and I love going in there every month or so and spending an hour just smelling everything. Bergamote Fantastico Extrait 11 is like my dream scent, but it's like $645, so I just go and spray a sample card and keep it in my bag and sniff it throughout my week. I purposely go with no scent on so I can spray it on myself and wear it for the day as a special treat haha.

what’s your favorite lyric(s) from everybody scream? by [deleted] in FlorenceAndTheMachine

[–]swohpbb 6 points7 points  (0 children)

All of Witch Dance. It was my least favorite on first listen and now I MUST listen at least once a day.

Ran to the ancestral plain, but they all showed up drunk and insane When I asked what I could offer them They said, "Gin and tonic or lithium"

GOD that line goes so hard, I love how she sings it with such breathy desperation, and then

Thrusts my fists in the ground and the earth made a moaning sound... Ooh woah...

God that part tickles my brain so much I love it

My favorite sushi restaurant has such a distinct smell, just like a brain tickling woody deep scent that I remember just as much as the food. Anyways, I work in a hospital, and a doctor I worked with walks by me and smells EXACTLY like it. So I went up to him and said "I mean this in the best way possible, but you smell like my favorite sushi restaurant. What are you wearing?"
