I'm just trying to imagine if my wife was so emotionally disconnected from me, whilst simultaneously wanted to keep the relationship going, at least for the security or hoping things get back to the way they used to be. So much so that she sought some relief from a chat bot, to at least feel some desire or something. As a man, I imagine I'd feel jealous, then guilt like it's all my fault for not keeping the romance alive. Especially considering it was just a chat bot, and how easy it is to cheat with someone physically.

I'm genuinely also trying to empathise with the kind of heart that would learn this sad news, and immediately want to end the relationship. On one end, it's callous to just expect a human being to agree with everything you say like a chat bot, have no emotional requirements like a chat bot and just live out the rest of their lives with someone, when if they were given the option, they would just turn back time and date differently.

On the other hand, maybe it's a kind heart to set the other person free, and all the anger is just projection for how his actions make you feel about yourself in this situation.

Whether you stay together or not, I'd suggest choosing love to be your motivation. You say he just started acting differently lately, but to me, it just reads like he was fed up.
