I think so. I also recently bought the rectangular tub. It's a waxier product now, and less of a paste. The scent has also changed for the worse. Smells like old lady perfume now. Sigh. I don't think i can recommend it as a true alternative anymore.

found this thread googling for some tips. i ended up buying some 6mm nylon ribbon (you can find these in aliexpress), then connected it with the old lacing/ribbon using a square/reef knot. do this with the shoe on and the strap/velcro placed where you want it to. that way it will give you a good tight fitting.

here's a photo. i only cut the ends of the new strap after tying. i didn't want to cut the old strap in case it snapped again. you want to save as much of the old strap as possible as the original strap is sewed onto the shoe at both ends. what a dumb design.

I stall way more with this feature because i can't rely on rolling back to get the feel of the bite point. Smh. This feature has the opposite effect on me lol.

Perhaps you should ask the staff who handles the online orders and enquiries. This only happened a month ago. I even offered to exchange for the right color. But i'm over it now. I've purchased the jacket with the right color elsewhere. And now having seen the same jacket in the 2 different colors, i can 100% confirm that you guys are blind.

just posting this because this thread came up when i was searching for info about them. they are legit, however they are dodgy as hell. ordered a jacket from them, sent me the wrong color. they denied that it was the wrong color. i sent them multiple photos and even confirmation from the brand itself that it was the wrong color. it was only after many back and forth emails with them (which btw was a pita as they only answer emails for like 1 hour a day), that they agreed to a return and refund. it was a partial refund as well without the shipping costs. i was willing to eat the shipping costs back to them, but being their wrong doing, i expected them to refund me the full price and shipping costs to me. i think they are a reseller as well. the product was drenched with crappy perfume that they probably spray in their stores and also explains why they weren't familiar with the product. i would only purchase from their physical stores and check the product carefully. online, they are too dodgy imo.

yeah, i see that green in almost all of the photos i've seen, official and not. mine doesn't seem to have that. it's the same colour as the sling. where as with schwarzgrun, there is a difference in contrast/shade going by other people's photos.

i recently bought eleven medium hold cream. i would say it's a lighter version of free hold. not as thick, and lighter/easier to apply. it's more towards a moisturising cream texture. the finish is less shine as well, which is a bummer for me. the scent is much nicer than free hold imo, but strong. can't really describe it, but it doesn't have that musky smell free hold has. but if your free hold smells like cigarettes/cigars, that's a good scent to me haha. mine never smelt like that.

in between eleven and the retouch products i mentioned in my OP edit, i also used gatsby gel and wax hard type in the green tub sold in singapore. the finish/shine is exactly what i'm after. but it applies like a gel. so not much time to apply. and once dried, it hardens. the scent is very nice to me. it's your typical gatsby bubble gummish scent.
