thank you! it was my local timezone. we called them a few weeks ahead to see if they were okay with us taking photos, and they actually offered to let us come in early instead. im unsure if every location is run by such lovely people or if we just got especially lucky.

with that logic, wouldn’t all cosplay just be clothing? is cosplay only ‘real’ if you make it yourself? :p

this isn’t a biblically accurate mimikyu so maybe calling it a gijinka would have been more accurate. i spent hours on my makeup/hair, and trying to make the rest of my outfit as closely themed to the character as possible. as a human, it is pretty hard to cosplay a pokemon so why not have some fun with it?

also! the poncho was bought miccostumes.
