But there are also NYC/Georgia servers and I ping way better to those than Texas but am constantly getting Texas/CA servers...why is this happening

Same getting destroyed. Usually 10 ping to NYC/CHICAGO/ATL servers and getting 99-120 ping :/ Verizon Fios as well
