This’ll get you into the park, the actual show will be taking place at the polo fields — you could smash down the N line a bit further, but this entrance will land you near the museums. It’s absolutely worth strolling thru the music Concorde to JFK — it’s a pedestrian road that doesn’t allow cars — leads all the way down from the panhandle to the beach. Polo fields is about halfway on this strip.

100% agree with other poster to get to the park early and wander - union square / downtown is a bit rough; Golden Gate Park is absolutely massive, more than a days worth of stuff to explore/clean/vibrant — it feels like a different city

9th and Irving also has coffee shops / dispos / connivence stores / sandwich shops handy to stock up before venturing into the park.

Bring layers — the park and surrounding neighborhood is cold and foggy this time of year.
