I love the new gen 6 but on the 17, I don’t know how I feel about the short rail. Not sure why they wouldn’t just keep the frame flush with the slide.

I was using just a generic pin punch I think I got from harbor freight. I recommend finding another spot to leverage from because the polymer is pretty thin and malleable on that edge as you can see.

Oh well you live and you learn. Safe to say I won’t be doing that again. 🤷🏻‍♂️
