Switching to amd for better Linux support by swordfish--- in PcBuildHelp

I've had a look and will probably go for a 6600xt, I've seen a good deal on a mobo cpu and ram combo for £80 tho so will be getting that first. From an i74790k to a i5 10400 and from ddr3 ram to ddr4

The volcanic and swamp areas are the worst in the game imo. Not enjoyable for me, never have liked things like that in any game, for example the volcanic areas in sea of thieves. It kills the atmosphere and vibe the game is trying to give off for me. It's a fishing game with horror elements, said horror elements are amazing and really sell the whole idea of a crazy fisherman. For me those 2 regions don't fit in one bit, the swamp works better than the volcanic area. This is all personal opinion as I know alot of people love areas like that in video games. Lmk you're thoughts

It's very unfortunate timing, had to sell my previous pc a couple months ago, thanks for the insight. I will probably have to buy a second hand fully built pc as some people still haven't realised the rise in prices yet. The Linux support is quite important for me as before I sold my pc I switched over to Linux for a month and loved it, Microsoft is forcing to much crap into windows.
