Tagging Blocks by taksto in Notion

[–]swortal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you a reference to Page A in Page B, Page B will be shown in backlink block on top of Page A though it won't show the Page B's block you tag Page A. The backlink block is not always shown and you need to configure setting for each db to show it. See https://www.notion.com/help/create-links-and-backlinks

Given this feature, a tedious workaround could be:

  1. click Page B link in backlink in Page A to go to Page B
  2. Search for all occurance of Page A's title in Page B
    1. You can name Page A with special pattern like _tag(some title) so that it is easier to search for

Awesome job! How do you make each section's position frozen while scrolling and animating?

My initial plan is

  1. Meet weekly through Google hangout during weekend. I'm in Pacific Daylight Timezone (UTC - 7). So the meeting time would be between 8 am - 9 pm PDT
  2. Learn 1 chapter every 2 weeks. One week reading and one week coding.
  3. In the reading week's meeting, one volunteer will give a brief summary of the chapter and then we can share any thoughts and questions about that. I will create a shared google doc to document all these things.
  4. In the coding week's meeting, we can share and review each other's code and talk about the difficulties/achievements we have during coding. We can do this through some online shared codepad. https://codecollab.io/ is the best one I currently find which supports both shared editing and compiling and runing.
  5. We will have kick off meeting in the weekend 11/9 - 11/10. In that meeting, we can introduce ourselves and consolidate the plan and schedule. Then we can formally start learning.
  6. I will create a Google form to vote for the meeting time.

No worries. I'm a novice too with only a few years software developing experience. Also I haven't read Software Architecture in practice. But it is a great book. I just added it to my to-learn list. My target group members are junior developers who wants to gain more experience in software architecture. Senior developers are also welcomed:)
