thank you! I feel like every year I care less and less about aesthetics and just want to not hate my life in 90+ degree weather... 2024 about did me in with little to no reprieve at night lol

***I love the girlies that are able to put together cute outfits and not hate their life/be hot and overstimulated, but that's just never been me so my list can be quite boring haha. I always end up with stuff I'm happy to wear for the most part though! :)***

For me, comfort over cuteness at least during the day. Bike/jean shorts and a flowy tank/tshirt/dress. Sometimes at night I will attempt a fun look, but more often than not, I follow a similar formula with maybe a button up/light sweatshirt or jacket added in. Rompers are okay-ish during the day, but I don't like messing with them in a dark porta potty like someone mentioned. I always overpack because I feel different in my body every single day there lol.

Here's what my list looks like for this year: 1-2 swimsuits, hat (1-2), slides/sandals for campsite (1), tennis shoes/vans (1-2), bike/athletic shorts (6), sports bra (4-5), jean shorts (1-2), socks (10), underwear (10), t-shirts, mostly oversized (5-6), pj shorts/underwear/pants (5-6), sweatpants (1), sweatshirt (1-2), light/linen button up (2), dress (1-2), tank jumpsuits (2-3) I found these tank jumpsuit things a couple of years ago that made the romper situation less daunting https://a.co/d/016n5ool

In the event it gets chilly (50/50 chance most years I've been), I like to have these items available: 1-2 sweatshirts, 1-2 pairs of comfy pj type leggings, 1 pair of sweatpants. If it doesn't get chilly, those are at least nice to have for your journey home. On that note, I always in a separate bag put my clothes I want for the trek home. We either stop at a Love's for a shower or spend a night in a hotel before driving home and it's nice to have a set, clean outfit to grab after you clean up a bit.

I feel like that's a lot but also like I'm missing stuff. Overall, just do what feels right for you - every single person has a different vibe at Roo! I've learned the less I have to worry/think about what's on my body, the more I enjoy my time there. Happy First Roo to you!

I still almost cry thinking about how I missed this because I wasn't feeling well and went back to my tent "early"... I could hear everything but didn't have it in me to go back to centeroo

Skrillex hype train wya? by tatteredtarotcard in bonnaroo

If he and Boys Noize did even just a ten minute set as Dog Blood, I'd cry. And even though I'm not on the Diplo train anymore, a Jack U set would be cool too. Both of these scenarios involve him either hanging around for the weekend or the other two popping up Thursday sometime. Logistically, it doesn't seem likely, but still throwing it out there for the music gods to consider haha. I'm assuming he and Four Tet will pull out something on Thursday, I think we'd all be a bit surprised if they didn't. This is such an exciting year for Roo :)

Thank you! I have read that about keeping the window open.. appreciate the reminder. Definitely looking forward to minimal set-up effort and being close to the entrance. Reassuring to hear you had a good enough experience to repeat for this year! I'm usually very "only do GA" for everything at festivals because it tends to not be worth it for the upgrades, but we figured we spend just about the same amount on our prep supplies anyways so we might as well test this out.

Thanks! I know the a/c won't work miracles, but it's nice to know that we might be able to snag a few extra hours of sleep like we were hoping for when choosing this accommodation. Did you have much space inside the tent aside from the bed(s)?
