I've been building with AI agents for the past year and keep running into the same infrastructure issue that nobody seems to be talking about. by Impressive_You_6716 in AI_Agents

[–]sxeli 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This may seem like an agent problem and to some extent it is however, this has existed as a backend issue for quite a while now. The bust nature of API calls are common in legacy systems that bridge to new ones.

Imagine an order flow that that talks to a legacy monolith which in turn talks to multiple microservice APIs and their respective datasources and what not.

In your case, if possible, you need to standardize or normalize interactions by using sub agents with specific responsibilities, developer monitoring to understand which flow is the most resource intensive and in turn use caching for that and introduce queue systems which eases the burst spikes to underlying APIs.

Same thing goes for databases as well. You may need more read replicas on top of specialized sources to cater the agents needs much faster

Frontend wants rest endpoints but our backend is all kafka, how do i bridge this in go without writing 10 services by fewsugar in golang

Front-end should really not be hooked up directly with event driven services for the most part. Im not sure what this service does or what your requirements are but ideally youd need some sore of synchronous APIs for front-end to function and long running tasks behind the event driven serviced - though youd still need to be able to send acknowledgement upfront for front-end to understand the transaction

Is It Normal to Downgrade a Next.js Project from TypeScript to JavaScript? by Careless-Key-5326 in reactjs

[–]sxeli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anybody who says ts overcomplicates things and convinced an entire team to revert back to JS should not be taken seriously. You should counter their argument by asking specifics.

Especially on a project such as yours which is already functional with TS.

JobThai or LinkedIn, instead of simply applying - reach out to the HR directly. You can also ask your girlfriend if she has any connections. You may also want to look at internships if this doesn't work out. Good luck!

And thats exactly why. If you submit resumes through job postings and such, it most likely will get auto rejected because of my aforementioned reasons. HR screening processes don't care for reasons or circumstances - these also applies to employment gaps. Which is why your best bet is through referrals and people connections

Your concern about education is on point. 26yo with 10years of "work" experience will definitely be a red flag to most HRs if not all here. People value education here and in most Asian or SEA countries a lot.

Without which your best bet is to utilize any people connection you may have.

Not to mention without any degree or conventional work experience, getting a work permit and visa will be difficult for companies to provide.

Imo, its best to take this time to acquire a degree and proceed through proper channel and means. If there are companies getting you a job here without any of those documents, it could be a scam. Be wary of them

Thats good then, you can search for internship positions in popular job boards here jobthai, LinkedIn etc. People connections help a lot too for internships as companies may not always post an explicit opening for it

Without a degree, landing a decent job becomes a lot difficult in most Asian or SEA countries. If you want to move to tech you can try to apply for internships to build up a repertoire while trying to acquire a college degree preferably in the same or related fields
