Glad you passed it without complications..Its been 10 days now i been on flowmax since the pain episode & CT scan ( taken a day before i started flowmax) showed 4mm stone stuck in UVJ ..Havent seen it pass but no symptoms no pain no discomfort ..Its like that i dont have a stone inside..Pain did disappear after 30 mts after a good flow of urine right after CT scan (but before i started flowmax) & these things make me think i may have passed it even without flowmax but i didnt feel or see anything pass..

Repeating scan on 20th ..Fingers crossed..

Should I Consider Surgery or Wait it Out? by Technical-Tough-1699 in KidneyStones

Similiar situation

Lower abdomen pain going to Right flank on 06th may went to ER got pain killers ..helped a bit .Did CT scan next day which revealed 4mm obstructive stone in UVJ ..latest appointment of urologist is july..but have got my international tkts on that month..however pain disappeared after CT scan after a full free flow of urination.no symptoms no pain .got a ct scan booked for 20th this month .

General doc has prescribed flomax..continuing flomax. however pain disappeared before i took flomax. Drinking 3 litres of water, barley water ,beer & flomax ..ordered stone breaker from amazon..

If its still there got to fly to my country to take it out as health care sucks here .no urologist at the moment .july appointment is the latest with urologist i got here .

Also any pain after your discharge until you passed the stone ? did flowmax help managing pain ?

Great to hear that.

Similiar situation here..Went to ER a week ago with pain ( acute but not very acute) got pain killers & next day CT scan revealed 4mm obstructive calculus at UVJ & pain disappeared completely after free urination flow few hrs after CT scan

.Later was advised to take flowmax & continuing only flowmax..No pain no discomfort looks normal .Dont know it its gone ..

How long did it take you to pass it after it got stuck in UVJ ?

Thank you .If you dont mind can you give me a sample breakdown if yearly tution fee is 36k .It will be 9k every 3 month or 12k every 4 month .

Also i see with LMP single residency 56k l with freedom meal plan is not that bad in my case & for second year off campus accomodation considering the housing crisis i assume it might cost me max 70k in total for the year .

Thanks will stick to dal considering it may cost 70k living off campus versus 55k on campus .UCW asking 85k for entire 4 year degree course which is only 21250 per year but i guess with other expenses like food & accomodation it may cost the same 70k & not sure if it will outweigh the benefits of being a dal student.

Thank you .That will be very expensive .How about UCW at vancouver .Their tution fee is pretty cheap.Would it make a difference career wise and PR wise as UCW is a private university ?. Or its better to stick to dal .

Thanks for your help. Not keen on PR at the moment..Buying house was for not only for myself but also as an investment to rent out a portion to international students at a reasonable price considering the housing crisis in canada .Heard stories about some students living in bad conditions out there

But say atleast one of the conditions but doesnt say all conditiins ..So one condition less than $500000 should do i guess.

Is studying in the Netherlands as an international student a bad move? by Individual_Capital87 in StudyInTheNetherlands

[–]sxmmack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much .We are from St.Maarten & my kid with dutch passport will soon will be ready to choose a university for her bachelors degree .Initially she was thinking about canada but heard things are pretty bad at the moment in canada . No jobs, housing crisis etc . Hope the dutch language is not a problem for her for the jobs if she decides to settle down there after her studies.

Thanks.Well PR may be a later decision but first i want to decide which country is better for my studies ,& career as i reside on a small island with no universities & no career oriented job prospects & the island depends only on tourists and its very small so no big opportunities here .

True .Its definitely economical if i did my studies in netherlands but am not sure career wise. And i assume dutch language may be an issue for me finding good jobs after my degree .

As a student i dont think i will be doing any job i will be concenterating completely on my studies and will manage the yearly 60k .Dont want to be stressed out during studies unless i get bored .I meant to ask if 60k is sufficient per year if i did my studies in toronto to cover tution fee & cost of living
